Develops and tests power electronic systems used in devices that control and convert electrical power.
Skills
- Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals, including semiconductor devices and circuit analysis
- Experience with power electronic design software (e.g. PSIM, PLECS, SPICE)
- Knowledge of power converter topologies and control techniques
- Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders
