Module 2: Data Collection and Processing (4-5 classes, 2-3 weeks)

  • Class 1: Introduction to Python programming, reading sensor data

  • Class 2: Processing and storing data using JavaScript and Node.js

  • Class 3: Data visualization and analysis

  • Class 4: Handling errors and exceptions

  • Class 5: Review and practice

Module 3: Automation Logic (4-5 classes, 2-3 weeks)

  • Class 1: Introduction to C++ programming, automation scenarios

  • Class 2: Writing C++ code for automation logic

  • Class 3: Integrating with sensors and actuators

  • Class 4: Testing and debugging automation logic

  • Class 5: Review and practice

Module 4: Web Interface (4-5 classes, 2-3 weeks)

  • Class 1: Introduction to web development, HTML/CSS/JavaScript

  • Class 2: Designing and developing a web interface

  • Class 3: Integrating web interface with automation system

  • Class 4: Testing and debugging web interface

  • Class 5: Review and practice

Module 5: Integration and Testing (4-5 classes, 2-3 weeks)

  • Class 1: Integrating all modules

  • Class 2: Testing and debugging the system

  • Class 3: Troubleshooting and optimizing the system

  • Class 4: Final project presentation preparation

  • Class 5: Final project presentations

Independent Project (4-6 weeks)

  • Students work on their own smart home automation project

  • Regular check-ins and feedback from instructor

Total Duration: 20-25 weeks (approximately 5-6 months)
